We are currently in need of people who just love gardening! Northland Society of Arts owns and operates Reyburn House, a category two historic listing and the oldest pioneer settlers house in Whangarei. Join us for some fresh air and a great environment!
We are always looking for new members to join our awesome community project, growing and developing a wonderful Food Forest in Onerahi.
We need extra people to help with ushering and front of house for visiting shows (ticket-selling), work behind the bar under supervision of bar manager, and to pack-down after the show is finished (sometimes).
We are looking for a painter to help us with the painting of a fence and painting wooden windows in our cottage.
Hands-on people, farmers, builders or just an all round jack of all trades - This is for you!! We have a list of small (and large) Maintenance jobs that you can pick and choose to suit your skills/time/experience.

Our focus is to make a positive difference. Our vision is to reach more riders and change more lives. Sounds interesting? Join the Board of Governance of Whangarei Riding for the Disabled and help us make our strategic direction a reality.
If you are confident around both horses and disabled people - then give us a call! The job will be leading horses and side walking with our riders during sessions. Interested volunteers can do courses run by NZRDA and gain NZQU qualifications.
Te Pokapū Tiaki Taiao O Te Tai Tokerau is the trust that runs the EcoCentre in Kaitāia, and is in need of 2 new trustees.
Our community garden is at the Kaitaia Community House, 12 Puckey Ave. The garden is tucked away at the back. Everyone is welcome!
