We are looking for extra hands to help with the set-up and with the running of the event on the day, 31 December.
Do you enjoy a good cuppa, a friendly chat and want to learn more about the blind and low vision community?
We hold regular weeding and planting days and we welcome new volunteers to come along. Plantings usually take place in Winter and weeding in Spring and Autumn. Working Bees are on Saturdays 2-5pm, approx once/month.
We are looking for someone to help create and send out our monthly newsletter, social media and other advertising across all our events.
He aha te tūranga - About the role: Our Op Shop teams do fantastic work in the community selling affordable pre-loved goods, and this helps to fund our essential, lifesaving services and community initiatives.
You will be calling 4-5 of our students to see how they are getting on. For two weeks at the beginning of each term. We will give you an app so it doesn’t cost you anything.

Support Whangarei Men’s Shed as Secretary and ensure that we continue to enhance the health (mental and physical) of the men of Whangarei and assist with projects for the community.
