Visitor Hosts for Whangarei Heads Arts Trail - 27/28 March 2027

We are looking for arts enthusiasts who would be interested to assist as visitor hosts at our Community Halls or private studios over the two days of the Whangarei Heads Arts Trail.

The event runs on Easter Saturday & Sunday 27 & 28 March 2027. The event is open to the public from 10am to 4pm both days, so volunteers for the morning shift would need to arrive beforehand to meet Hall Managers prior to opening time. You would need to cover at least one full morning or afternoon.

Some cash handling will be involved. It's a great opportunity for people interested in doing the arts trail in future to network with some of the artists.

We need your help in our public event spaces: Onerahi Yacht Club, McLeod Bay Hall, Rabbit Hill (Patau Sth Rd) or at one of our private studios.

Requirements

  • Interested in Arts.
  • Happy to talk to lots of people.
  • Not easily flustered in times of high demand. Able to travel to Whangarei Heads.
  • Willingness to handle money on behalf of the artists or the society.

The event runs on Easter Saturday & Sunday 27 & 28 March 2027. The event is open to the public from 10am to 4pm both days, so volunteers for the morning shift would need to arrive beforehand to meet Hall Managers prior to opening time.
