Kia ora, welcome to Volunteering Northland
The Eco Centre on Bank Street offers a central hub for Te Pokapū Tiaki Taiao o Te Tai Tokerau to connect with the community. It provides a community hub of information, services & supplies to help people live more sustainably, including TimeBanking, regular social events, workshops and working bees. Drawing on a strong tradition of Kaitiakitanga or stewardship, the Eco Centre is at the heart of a growing network of locals trying to improve their footprint on the earth.

We would love volunteers to help man the front desk while our Co-Ordinators are teaching people to sew or run workshops. This includes greeting people coming in, helping people pay koha with cash or eftpos.
