There is nothing more fun then see kids having fun! The Raurimu Avenue School swimming pool is now open to the public. We are looking for volunteers who can help support our life guard by welcoming everyone and keeping an eye on things.
Weeding with Wednesday morning group
StarJam inspires young people with disabilities (our Jammers) to express themselves through music, dance, singing and performance. Our workshops, gigs and discos are fun and exciting spaces for Jammers to grow in confidence and make life long friends.
Whangarei Quarry Gardens has been developed almost entirely by 'local legends' a.k.a. volunteers. The Gardens are slowly becoming one of NZ's most interesting public gardens, and we are looking for someone to help out in our nursery.

Front of House heroes with masses of charm to share, are wanted for refreshed Kauri Museum.
Volunteer required to wash gum at the Kauri Museum at Matakohe. Up to 6-8 hours per week, anytime during working hours, Monday to Friday. Would suit a self-starter who does not require supervision. Not difficult work, but needs to be done thoroughly.
Are you an experienced snorkeler? Share your passion for the water with others! Supervise participants to explore the waters of places in Whangarei Marine Reserve and the area. Discover pipefish, triplefins or nudibranchs and other reef fish.
