The Scout Association of New Zealand

Scouts is all about positive youth development. Our purpose is to empower young people through adventure and challenge to be ready for life! We welcome young people between the ages of 5 to 26 and are open to all genders, ethnicities and religions. We are the world’s largest non-formal education institution, serving over 12,000 young people all across New Zealand.

Youth Sections meet after school and in the evenings during the week in term time with some weekend activities throughout the year.

What adventures are you up for? SCOUTS is all about fun, challenges and adventures. There are a range of ways to support your local Scout group, as a Scout Leader working directly with our youth or helping our behind the scenes as a comittee member.
