Kia ora, welcome to Volunteering Northland
We are a community volunteer group helping to protect native species in Parihaka by reducing pest populations. We formed in 2016 at started controlling rats and possums in the beautiful 41-ha Mackesy Bush. We are now planning to expand the management area to include Ross Park (access from the summit or from Dundas Road).
(Also fits Teams) We are a community group helping to protect native species in Parihaka by reducing pest populations. We would love your support on the first Sunday each month.
Squeamish people - sorry, but this volunteering is not for you...We need extra hands to help with possum trapping and loading rat bait stations. help us protect the native species in Parihaka.
