Kia ora, welcome to Volunteering Northland
Plunket is the largest provider of free support services for the development, health and wellbeing of children under five in New Zealand. Our nurses provide support through home and clinic visits, mobile clinics and PlunketLine, a free telephone advice service for parents.
Plunket also organises car seat rental services, parent groups, parenting education and toy libraries, drop in centres, playgroups and education in schools – most of which are available nationwide and free of charge.
Volunteering is all about being the first to smile, the first to say hello, the first to make someone feel they are seen. Āwhina Plunket Northland is looking for warm people to host our weekly Drop-In Clinic in Dargaville.
We have an opportunity for an individual to join our Kids Kits team as a Donations Co-ordinator for the Far North, based in Kerikeri.
We have a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is passionate about facilitating positive learning experiences and outcomes for 0 to 5 year olds and their whānau. Experience will be helpful but is not essential.
