Playgroup Coordinator

Whānau Āwhina Plunket provides a range of free services aimed at improving the development, health and wellbeing of children under the age of five.

We have a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is passionate about facilitating positive learning experiences and outcomes for 0 to 5 year olds and their whānau. Experience will be helpful but is not essential.

An understanding about early childhood development along with a keen interest to make the difference of a lifetime in the first 1,000 days will help ensure you are the right candidate for this fun and rewarding volunteer position.

This role is based in Kerikeri and will require between 3 to 6 hours of your dedicated time per week. Full training will be given.

Requirements

Applicants will be:

  • reliable, committed and self-motivated
  • organised with an eye for detail and quality control
  • passionate about supporting our service delivery to local whānau

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment

This role is based in Kerikeri and will require between 3 to 6 hours of your dedicated time per week.
