Planting Day

We have events that require community volunteers to help us get 7500 trees planted along our Inanga spawning Zones on the Ruakaka and Pohuenui Rivers.
If you have a passion for the environment and making changes for the better come along and get involved.

Planting dates will be provided upon application of interest.

Any days is a help to our team and project, can do 1, 4 or as many days as you want.

Requirements

Volunteers will need to have some level of fitness due to being on a river and using spades to plant, will require gumboots or workboots and wet weather gear, lunch and other refreshments will be provided, But bring plenty of water.
