We have a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is passionate about facilitating positive learning experiences and outcomes for 0 to 5 year olds and their whānau. Experience will be helpful but is not essential.
Our garden in Paparoa grows fruit and vegetables for local foodbanks. If you are keen to get into nature we're always on the lookout for help to assist in the gardens for an hour or two, but most importantly to feel welcome and accepted!
If you're keen to be outdoors, have a good level of fitness and can volunteer for around 4 hours a month with a important conservation project...this could be for you!
Helping to control invasive weed species on Matakohe Limestone Island. Relaxed and friendly group. Includes a free boat ride, as well as a workout, and fresh air!
Become a stream life investigation supervisor! You would supervise a small group of up to 4 students with their stream investigation, have some quality time with children and gain some fitness. So many good things in one volunteering :)
The perfect place for nature lovers! Join a DOC ranger for a day and help to preserve our beautiful natural environment and carry out conservation work. volunteering has an educational component like guided walks, a talk from our knowledgeable and so on.
