Ticket Sellers (Kawakawa)

The Bay of Islands Vintage Railway Trust is a heritage railway in Kawakawa. It is unique as it is the only working railway in New Zealand where the trains travel down a State Highway and right through the middle of a busy town. We schedule 4 trains to run every Friday, Saturday and Sunday and every day in school holidays.

Ticket sellers needed to sell tickets to visitors wishing to travel on our trains when they are operating. Able to deal with money transactions and associated documents. Occasional transport/carpooling available from Whangarei. Full training by current staff will be given.

Requirements

Outgoing, friendly personality, with an eye for figure-work.

A Ministry of Justice background check is required for this role.

Time commitment

When rostered a Duty day's hours are: 10.15am to 3pm approx.
