Equipment Support

This person will be our Equipment Assistant. The role will be for someone who can come in after we have returned from a search and/or training and check our response gear, re-charge our radios and ensure that all our team kits and gear is ready to go again.
Searches can happen any day and any time of the day or night. So the person we are looking for would ideally be based in KeriKeri as our HQ is near the airport and they would need to come in shortly after we return so the team can either go home to sleep or off to work as the case may be.

Requirements

Pass a Police Check, be practical and reliable

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment

this can take anywhere between 1 to 4 hours depending on how long we have been out. You need to be available on call. We would alert you when we are called out for a search and let you know when we are home. Our gear needs to be ready to go within half a day as we can get called out at anytime. Last year we had 16 searches which is about average. We also train most months so you would also know if the Response trailer is used and our equipment has been used.
