Ukulele Tutor

We are seeking a passionate and patient Ukulele tutor to teach small groups of men one day a week or one day a fortnight.
You will be working inside Northland corrections facility with the men in our care. We require someone who is passionate, patient, confident, and supportive to support the men and create a respectful positive learning environment.

Requirements

To be considered for this role you will have a positive attitude and be flexible, as our environment is ever changing. You will also be required to meet with the Volunteer Coordinator, Pass a police check and a site induction.
No formal education required just a passion for teaching music, a commitment to attend and a passion for helping others.

A Ministry of Justice background check is required for this role.

Time commitment

Weekdays- once a week or once a fortnight.
Consideration for weekends for the right candidate is a possibility.
