First Aid response for Motorsport Events

Our speed event regulations require a First Aid person to be on site at our events. The Northland Car Club will provide a First Aid Kit and you would be accompanied / assisted by the other Officials at the incident - should one occur.
Your responsibility would include;
To attend any vehicle incident once requested by Radio Control or Flag Marshall,
To provide medical assistance as needed and / or request further Emergency Services (111) should they be needed. Events are generally in isolated rural areas.
To provide a concise report to event officials after the incident has been dealt with.

Requirements

Basic First Aid certification - in date.

Time commitment

Our events are held on Sundays and run from 8 am to 5 pm.
Positions for each event are organised in advance to ensure all positions required are filled.
