Festival Crew Pasifika Fusion - 7th March

Do you love meeting people? Do you enjoy the vibrant vibes of our Pacific Islands? If so, then you’re exactly the kind of person who would be an awesome volunteer at our Northland Pasifika Fusion Festival!

Running a festival is a massive job, but with many hands and plenty of alofa, it becomes not only achievable — but full of fun, laughter, and community spirit.

We are looking for volunteers to help us bring next year’s festival to life on Saturday, 7 March 2026. Pasifika Fusion is one of Northland’s favorite events, filled with music, food, entertainment, and cultural activities — all set in the welcoming space of Kensington Sports Grounds.

Requirements

Whether you’re a Pasifika speaker or simply someone who loves our cultures and wants to learn more, we welcome you into our festival aiga. Good people skills and friendly communication are always helpful, but the main thing is bringing a positive attitude and willingness to help.

This is also a great opportunity for young people who want experience in event management, or those looking to build their confidence, gain community service hours, or be part of something meaningful in the community.

Time commitment

10 volunteers 2 shift slots: from 8 am- 12pm, 1pm – 5pm on the event day.
