Cancer Society Northland Oncology Host (Yellow Shirt)

Cancer Society Northland is seeking expressions of interest for the Oncology Host role we are establishing in the Bay of Islands Hospital in Kawakawa. A full orientation to the Cancer Society and training will be provided.

The role is one of meet and greet, complimenting the support to patients given by the staff.

Requirements

Comfortably interact with people from diverse backgrounds.
Respect the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi.
Maintain boundaries and confidentiality.
Exhibit a caring and sensitive manner.

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment

We are looking for regular and casual volunteers for rostered shifts Monday to Friday during working hours.
