SWAT Tutukaka - Weedy Wednesdays

Everyone is welcome, we have tasks to suit a wide range of ages and skills. Come and enjoy the outdoors with a fun and enthusiastic group on Weedy Wednesday! Help protect our native biodiversity and get some exercise at the same time. We have been working in our local parks and reserves to control pest plants including jasmine, woolly nightshade, mothplant, ginger, privet and a whole lot of other baddies.

Requirements

Wear long pants, a long sleeved shirt and covered in shoes to avoid any scratches, or toxins coming into contact with your skin. Bring weather protection (eg.hat and sunblock if it is sunny) as wll as plenty fo water and snacks to keep you energised.

Time commitment

Wednesdays between 9:30 and 12:30
