Whangarei Art Museum Gallery Host

We are looking for Visitor hosts to welcome our manuhiri. The role includes warmly greeting our manuhiri, monitoring our clay-play table and engaging visitors with our exhibitions and workshops. You will work alongside our paid staff who will support you in all aspects of the role.

We have a range of volunteer opportunities available and on-going. Our volunteer programme works across two buildings, three art galleries, a shop and a rooftop garden. Whether you volunteer for one day or years, you will learn about art and nature alongside our staff who value your skill, talent and time. Requirements

You enjoy working with people and you relish learning new things and especially about art.

You will need to complete a health and safety induction before starting. Training is onsite and ongoing.

Time commitment

The Hundertwasser Art Centre is open seven days a week, 10am - 4pm. We will work with you to find shift times that suit you.
