Whangarei Art Trust

The Hātea Art Precinct Trust Board governs the Whangarei Art Museum, the Hundertwasser Art Centre and the Wairau Māori Art Gallery. The trust connects Northland with the world of art, showcasing local, national and international voices.

We have a range of volunteer opportunities available and on-going. Our volunteer programme works across two buildings, three art galleries, a shop and a rooftop garden. Whether you volunteer for one day or years, you will learn about art and nature alongside our staff who value your skill, talent and time.

We are looking for Visitor hosts to welcome our manuhiri. The role includes warmly greeting our manuhiri, monitoring our clay-play table and engaging visitors with our exhibitions and workshops.
