Handyperson & Builder

Arapohue Retreat is a faith-based (volunteer) community where the traumatised and addicted find the healing they need. It is a very special respite, surrounded by native bush and healing horses.

You're invited to help us restore the accommodation.

We would love help with various handy-person & building tasks around the property:

  • **building restoration: gibbing, gib-stopping, building repairs
  • **small fix-it jobs

If you want to stay for a bit we can accommodate you in one of the cabins and provide your meals. If you want to come in for the day, we will provide lunch and give you a gas koha.

Requirements

  • wanting to support the retreat's vision
  • hands-on person
  • building & handyperson skills

Time commitment

You can come in and help as a one-off, for a few days or weeks or longer-term. The work can be done anytime to fit in with your schedule.
