Whangārei Volunteer Fair

Whiria Te Tangata – Weaving the people together

22 June, Saturday, 9am – 12.30pm
Whangarei Central Library

You are invited to join us for our second Whangārei Volunteer Fair! Volunteering Northland wants to celebrate the diverse community in Te Tai Tokerau by hosting a day focused on mahi aroha, volunteering, and recognising those who work tirelessly for their community.
The Volunteer fair is a free, family-friendly event that includes food, entertainment, and micro-volunteering opportunities. It brings together volunteers and organisations from all backgrounds, creating a space where everyone can find a cause they believe in and feel a sense of belonging in their community.

Your community organisation is invited!

Stalls are free and available exclusively to Volunteering Northland member organsiations! We would love for this event to be as interactive as possible and really show off how amazing it can be to volunteer for your organisation. Therefore, we ask you to provide a 5 to 10 minute micro-volunteering activity that is related to the work you do and can be done easily, like making cards, knitting blanket squares, picking up waste, making seedbombs, writing a short text... We can help you find a fun activity!

Sign up for a stall here!

And don't forget to nominate your volunteers for our Kaimahi Aroha awards!
