Planting, weeding, harvesting at the Maunu Community Garden
Join us for working bees, planting, maintenance and harvesting.
All produce harvested is spray-free and is distributed via our partners to families in need, including the Salvation Army Foodbank, Tai Tokerau Food Rescue and Open Arms Day Centre. We also practice and promote sustainable horticulture.
Requirements
Generally volunteer days are:
Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays
8.30am - 1pm
Note: the hours are flexible, happy to discuss group requests.
