Activity Group Volunteer - Kerikeri

Dementia Tai Tokerau provides advice, care and support for those in Northland living with dementia.
We require a volunteer/s to support an informal activity group for people with dementia to attend while their carer goes to an appointment, takes a break and rests etc. This will be for 3-4 hours and will involve chatting to clients, supporting game activities and sharing a cuppa.
Location: Kerikeri

Requirements

Comfortable supporting people with dementia or aged care. Fun, engaging, and able to chat easily with people. Any age of person is welcome!

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment

3-4 hours once a month
