Volunteer Companion - Kerikeri

We’re looking for a friendly volunteer to support one of our members to connect more with the wider Kerikeri community. The role involves attending local community groups or activities together, helping our member feel comfortable and supported while trying new things. This is a low-pressure, companionship-based role focused on encouragement and building confidence.

Requirements

No experience is needed. We're looking for someone with a warm, supportive presence and an interest in community connection. Training is provided.

A Ministry of Justice background check is required for this role.

Time commitment

Flexible but ideally once a week. This can be discussed to suit your availability.
