Collectibles & Vintage Assistant - Habitat Op-Shop
Funds raised support Habitat for Humanity’s work building safe, affordable homes in Northland and ensuring our local whanau are living in warm, dry and well-ventilated homes in our community.
This role is ideal for someone with an interest in antiques, retro items, or one‑of‑a‑kind treasures, and who enjoys working as part of a friendly team.
Tasks Involved:
✨ Sorting and assessing donated collectible and vintage items
✨ Pricing items with guidance from ReStore staff
✨Creating attractive, well‑presented displays
✨Chatting with customers and answering questions about special finds
✨Supporting staff and other volunteers when needed
Requirements
- Must have an Interest in collectibles, vintage or unusual items
- A careful eye and a positive, can‑do attitude
- Friendly, reliable, and happy to be part of a team
- You don’t need retail experience; an interest in collectibles and a willingness to learn is all we ask.
A Ministry of Justice background check is required for this role.
