Whangārei Santa Parade Safety Marshal

We need helpers to safeguard our annual Christmas Parade and make sure that all attendees and the audience stay safe. Be part of bringing this wonderful event to our community!

You will be in teams of 2. You will be stationed throughout the parade route to ensure the safety of audience and floats.
We will give you a safety briefing and then send you to your designated spots.
Your help is essential to ensure that this amazing event will be a success!

Requirements

• Ability to work fast in a busy environment, not feel pressured and not mind noise.
• Friendly.
• Able to be on your feet for 2.5 hours.

Time commitment

Roughly 2.5hours.
Volunteers start at 9.30 with a safety briefing and will then be sent to their positions on the parade route.
The parade starts at 11am and will end at 12pm in John Street.
