Financial Fundraising Director – Mespa Solutions Foundation
MSF is seeking a Financial Fundraising Director to drive financial sustainability and expand our impact.
This part-time, flexible role involves developing and executing fundraising strategies, securing grants and sponsorships, cultivating donor relationships, and overseeing fundraising campaigns.
The ideal candidate has experience in financial fundraising, grant writing, and corporate partnerships, with strong networking and strategic planning skills. This role offers remote options and the opportunity to contribute to life-changing community initiatives across New Zealand and beyond.
Requirements
Experience & Expertise:
- Proven experience in financial fundraising, grant writing, or sponsorship acquisition.
- Strong financial acumen and strategic planning skills.
- Familiarity with fundraising best practices, donor engagement, and corporate partnerships.
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking abilities.
- Ability to identify and secure diverse funding sources.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
Personal Attributes:
- Passion for community development and social impact.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Adaptability and creativity in developing fundraising initiatives.
Additional:
- Knowledge of non-profit funding environments in New Zealand and Australia (preferred).
- Flexibility to work remotely and attend key fundraising events and board meetings when required.
A Police background check is required for this role.
