ArtBeat Festival 2025

Creative Northland is on the lookout for some awesome volunteers to help ignite ArtBeat Festival 2025! This year we are excited to expand the scope of Artbeat to a month-long, district-wide, grassroots arts, culture & heritage activation! This years theme is "Weaving Community"

ArtBeat is a magical celebration showcasing talent and creativity, culture & history, with a wide range of artists, performers, collaborators and creators. Our volunteers are a crucial part of bringing this event to life and we hope that by volunteering with us you'll feel a part of the 'behind the scenes' festival community and closer to the buzz and excitement of bringing this fantastic event to life!

Requirements

We are looking for some help in a variety of areas: ArtBeat info crew, event set-up/pack down, marketing, registrations and admission, zero-waste wizards, stage assistants, ArtBeat 'street fleet' - our floating guides and helpers, traffic management legends and some support crew for our interactive zones such as the silent disco, interactive art, face painters, children's activity areas and wellness zones. There's something for everyone and a great opportunity to learn or develop skills in some of these areas and immerse yourself in a world of art, culture & heritage.

Time commitment

ArtBeat will run throughout April 2025. Times are flexible - the minimum requirement is a 2-3h commitment at one event. However, our preference would be to work with volunteers who are interested in helping out at multiple events
