The Trust is involved with flora and fauna in NZ, therefore the Trust engages and collaborates with government and non-government, profitable and non-profit, Maori and Non-Maori organizations.
Requirements
The Trust is seeking highly motivated and experienced fundraising professionals to join our team.
A track record in developing and executing successful fundraising campaigns, cultivating donor relationships, and securing significant contributions.
The position is voluntary and remote therefore the project hours are flexible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Fundraising Strategies
- Donor Cultivation and Stewardship.
- Grant Writing.
- Event Planning and Management.
- Data Management
- Reporting & Analysis.
- Collaboration
- Budget Management
- Resided in New Zealand for more than 4 years.
- Fluently speaks and understands English.
- Te Reo Maori is advantageous.
- Deep understanding of the cultural history of NZ.
Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Proficiency in fundraising software (e.g., Donor Perfect, Blackbaud, etc.).
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with donors and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of fundraising best practices, including grant writing and donor stewardship.
- Fluent speaking and understanding of English.
- Spoken Te Reo Maori is advantageous.
- Deep understanding of Maori Cultural aspects in NZ.
