Dynamic and Experienced Senior Graphic Designer - Virtual Position

The Trust is involved with flora and fauna in NZ, therefore the Trust engages and collaborates with government and non-government, profitable and non-profit, Maori and Non-Maori organizations.

Requirements

Tiaki Taonga Trust seeks a dynamic and experienced Senior Graphic Designer to create impactful visual content.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop visual assets for marketing campaigns, including website visuals, social media graphics, banners, print collateral, and more.
  • Lead branding and rebranding initiatives, ensuring consistency across all materials.
  • Work closely with marketing and development teams to ensure visuals align with the strategic goals of each campaign.
  • Provide creative direction and oversee design processes to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Conduct brainstorming sessions and creative workshops to generate fresh ideas.
  • Review and approve designs, artwork, photography, and graphics developed by junior designers.
  • Ensure quality control over concepts and projects before final delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in graphic design, with a focus on branding and digital media.
  • Experience in managing projects and collaborating.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other relevant tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch).
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating experience in various types of graphic design including digital, print, and branding.
  • Exceptional typography, layout, and color theory skills.
  • Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate ideas clearly.
