Chef

The Centre is a day care service and is available to adults of all ages including those who are young with disabilities, the elderly and frail, those with memory loss, head injuries and/ or other disabilities. The Centre provides quality day care that enhances the welfare not only of the clients but also of the carers and families who look after their loved ones at home on a 24 hour a day basis. The Centre has capacity for 40 client visits per day.
We provide lunch for our client group each day and also provide frozen meals for the community which are in demand so that is a function of the busy kitchen. This voluntary role could lead to a paid position.

Requirements

Qualification as a Chef
Ability to be a good team leader
Knowledge of the Whangarei District Council Food Service Grading criteria
Excellent timekeeping

A Police background check is required for this role.

Good timekeeping essential
One or more days (Mon- Fri 8am -3.30pm.)
