Expo Ambassador Team Leader

Our Expo Ambassador Team Leader ensures that Insight Endometriosis has Expo Ambassador volunteers at expos. Our Ambassador volunteers represent our organisation and provide information about endometriosis to the public through positive engagement at various expos nationwide.

You will be contacting our Expo Ambassador volunteers to fill a roster for each expo, providing the volunteers with information needed about expos and ensuring that our Manager/Educator has the roster details, supporting them as a liaison during expos if there are any issues that arise and need to be dealt with immediately.

As Team Leader you are responsible for Expo Ambassadors fully understanding their role as organisation representatives and educators, engaging competently and confidently with the public.

You will ensure that Expo Ambassadors are well-trained to support their role and maintain a record of trainings, ensuring that Ambassadors complete training/refresher at least once every three years.

Requirements

Our ideal person will have experience in staff/volunteer supervision, leading a team and managing rosters. We are also looking for someone with the following knowledge, skills and personal qualities:
• Pro-active with good organisational and time-management skills
• Honest and reliable
• Able to maintain accurate, legible and timely records
• Access to email, text, phone and internet
• An ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds and maintain good relationships.
• Pleasant telephone manner
• The ability to ensure and maintain confidentiality

Time commitment

Dependent on when there are expos, ensuring contact with volunteers to organise their training and expo rosters.
