Sandbox Fandom Festival Helpers (Pop Culture, Anime, Games) - 27 July 2024
SANDBOX is for everyone to games, show off your cosplay, enter competitions, check out the artist alley, enjoy performances, and come together to revel in all things pop culture and beyond!
We are looking for event helpers over 2 days to:
- help with the set up and pack in at Forum North
- greet visitors and sell tickets
- answer questions and help visitors
- support one of the workshops and activities
- look after our artists and guests
On Friday: any help with setup and decorating is appreciated.
On Saturday: The event is open for the public from 10am - 4pm. You sign up for a 4 hour shift - either from 9am - 1pm or from 12.30pm - 4.30pm, so you can enjoy the festival for the remaining time.
Requirements
- if you want to work with the public, being friendly and welcoming helps
- if you want to be the tech dwarf and help from the dungeons without talking to anyone, we can use your help, too
Time commitment
The times where we need help are:
- Friday, 26 July between 1pm - 5pm
- Saturday, 27 July between 8am - 5pm

Any additional time you can spare during the aforementioned hours is highly appreciated.
