Experienced Office Administrator - Virtual Position

The Trust is involved with flora and fauna in NZ, therefore the Trust engages and collaborates with government and non-government, profitable and non-profit, Maori and Non-Maori organizations.

Requirements

The Trust is seeking an experienced Office Administrators who will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the office environment.
This role requires a highly organized individual with strong administrative skills and the ability to manage a variety of tasks and projects simultaneously.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in office management and a proven ability to support senior management and staff effectively.
The position is voluntary and remote therefore the project hours are flexible.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in office administration or a similar role. Experience in supporting senior management and handling complex administrative tasks is required.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and office management software (e.g., CRM systems, project management tools).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
