Whangarei Op Shop Helpers Needed
We are seeking store retail assistants in all areas of the store:
- welcoming customers and answering questions
- working the till at the front counter
- Sorting donations out the back when they come in and get them ready to put out in store
There will always be staff/other volunteers in the store to help either beside or close by around you. We will walk-you-through our standard practise with customers and train you on how we operate the till.

- stocking the op shop and looking after its different sections
Requirements
- Pleasant welcoming personality
- Reliable
- For working the till: Being comfortable operating a mouse and computer
- Logical thinking when answering/dealing with customers general questions
A Ministry of Justice background check is required for this role.
Time commitment
We are looking for volunteers on all weekdays (particularly Tuesday to Thursday in the afternoons) and Saturdays between 9am and 4pm
Shifts to be discussed to fit your needs.
We ask you to be available for a minimum of one shift a week.
