Treasurer

RDA provides goal-based riding activities that increase the ability, independence and confidence of people with physical, intellectual, emotional and social challenges. Our focus is to make a positive difference. Our vision is to reach more riders and change more lives.

The Whangarei Branch of NZRDA is seeking a Treasurer to join our Governance Committee and con-tribute to the running of our group.

We need support with: An annual budget, monitoring and reporting, annual financial statements and support with auditing.
While much of the day to day financial management is undertaken by our Business Manager we need a Treasurer to oversee this.

Requirements

Teir 3 or 4 level accounting experience with budget monitoring and reporting, annual financial statements preferred.

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment

We meet on the third Wednesday of each month at 5.30 pm, face to face and through Zoom.
