THMCT Virtual Admin Role - Rongoā Māori Traditional & Contemporary Services

Volunteer remotely. Te Houtaewa Māori Charitable Trust is dedicated to preserving, practising, and teaching traditional Māori healing methods. Our mission is to support the well-being of our communities through the principles of Rongoā Māori and other indigenous healing traditions. By honouring our ancestors and embracing the wisdom of traditional practices, we strive to foster health, harmony, and connection among all individuals.
The ability of the Trust to offer these services is only made possible by the continued support of volunteers.

**We seek a committed and reliable admin to support our Whare Rongoā holistic centres.

Administrative support for healing sessions, workshops, and events.
Online call centre, inquiries, evaluations and customer/patient feedback.
Assisting in the creation and distribution of cultural educational materials and resources.
Supporting the team with project coordination and tasks.
Contributing to the promotion of traditional healing practices within the community

  • Induction to Te Houtaewa Maori Charitable Trust and Whare Rongoā Centre(s)
  • Management will support full training.

Requirements

  • committed and reliable
  • can work virtually and has a computer available
  • confident with document filing
  • ideally experienced with Cliniko (practice management software)
  • good experience with Office 365
  • ideally good with social media

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment

This work can be done from home and during your hours. Ideally, you can support us with up to 30 hours a week.
