Leading horses/assisting in arena/side walkers
We provide opportunities for anyone with a disability to enjoy safe, healthy, stimulating, therapeutic horse riding and horse-related activities. We need people who are confident around both horses and disabled people.
The job will be leading horses, side walking with our riders in the arena during sessions. Also setting up the arena in the morning and cleaning up after the sessions in the afternoon RDA does these jobs a certain way and so all volunteers would be trained to do these jobs.
If volunteers are interested they can do courses run by NZRDA and also gain NZQU qualifications.
