Reotahi Reserve Weed Action

Reotahi Weed Action was formed in the summer of 2019 and have been meeting regularly to deal to weeds around the Whangarei District Council owned reserve. We meet in the carpark of the Beach Rd end of the coastal walkway all year round at 9am until 11.30am. We focus primarily on the weeds from our ‘Dirtiest Dozen’ list and are very proud of the work achieved so far.

It’s not all hard-slog, we break for morning tea (home-baking if we’re lucky) and a catch up with each other. We are always looking for more helpers to keep momentum and enthusiasm so please get in touch!
