‘The Gardens’ Community Support Garden - Join the team (Maunu)

We are looking for extra support at our market-style garden.
Join us for working bees, planting, maintenance and harvesting.

All produce harvested is spray-free and is distributed via our partners to families in need, including the Salvation Army Foodbank, Tai Tokerau Food Rescue and Open Arms Day Centre.

We also practice and promote sustainable horticulture.

We will work alongside the person for as long as necessary to become fully comfortable with the role.

Time commitment

Generally volunteer days are:
Mondays and Fridays
8.30am - 1pm

Note: the hours are flexible, and days do sometimes change.
