Expressions of Interest for membership of the Board of Governance

RDA provides goal-based riding activities that increase the ability, independence and confidence of people with physical, intellectual, emotional and social challenges. Our focus is to make a positive difference. Our vision is to reach more riders and change more lives.

Expressions of interest are invited for membership of the Board of Governance of Whangarei Riding for the Disabled. The Board is responsible for the overall strategic direction, and along with the Operations Manager, the success of the Whangarei RDA.

To enhance our skills mix, the Board would particularly welcome interest from individuals with functional and governance skills and a genuine desire to make a positive difference and assist with the expansion of Whangarei RDA.

These are Non-Executive unpaid positions.

Requirements

We seek diversity of Board membership and the following skills:

• Human Resources
• Financial (Treasurer required)
• Business Development
• Marketing - Digital leadership.

A Police background check is required for this role.
