Nominate Young Volunteers for Student Volunteer Week/ Youth Week 2023

We invite you to nominate all the awesome young volunteers that you want to see recognised for the impact they have on their communities!

Rangatira mō āpōpō? Rangatira i tēnei rā! Leaders of tomorrow? Leaders for today!
Youth Volunteer Week celebrates young people who are striving to make a change through volunteering and encourages youth to try volunteering. In 2023, the week coincides with Aotearoa's national Youth Week. Ara Taihoi is the kaitiaki of this week.

We will have our own celebration up here in the North and take part in the free Puāwai Youth Festival on the 20th May from 11 - 2pm at Pūtahi Park, Whangārei. Enjoy live entertainment and music. We will offer some great microvolunteering options, so come along! Visit the kai, market, sports and activity stalls - all organised and put on by youth, for youth!

We invite you to nominate all the awesome young volunteers that you want to see recognised for the impact they have on their communities! Do they support their peers in school? Do they volunteer for an organisation? Do they clean up the beach regularly? It doesn't have to be formal volunteering with an organisation, it can be anything where they are making a difference that benefits their community.

Nomination Form for Young Volunteers

You can nominate as many young volunteers as you want. We will provide them with a digital certificate (paper version on request) and a Thank You for their important mahi, which they can then include in their Social CV.

The last day for nominations is 19th May 2022, 2pm!
