Our mission is to maintain and restore the ecological and cultural heritage of Maungatapere mountain and surrounds by:

Predator control on and around the mountain
Monitoring of bird life
Weed control where needed
Track up grades when needed
Running a community nursery to help surrounding landowners plant and preserve native forest and wetlands to enhance the mountain bird life.
