Abbeyfield provides supported co-housing for older people, offering companionship, security and independence. Abbeyfield Whangārei is situated in Kensington and can accommodate 12 residents. Abbeyfield is a registered charity and is managed by a local committee of volunteers, supported through Abbeyfield New Zealand. Staff Lead - Executive Committee

This role has the ability to positively shape daily life at Abbeyfield House, guiding people in a way that keeps the environment caring, steady and well-run. This is a governance role with a practical focus, supporting and overseeing the small staff team
