Abbeyfield provides supported co-housing for older people, offering companionship, security and independence. Abbeyfield Whangārei is situated in Kensington and can accommodate 12 residents. Abbeyfield is a registered charity and is managed by a local committee of volunteers, supported through Abbeyfield New Zealand. Committee Member/Fire Safety Liaison

We are looking for an adult volunteer to join our committee as “fire safety liaison” supervising the 6 monthly trial evacuation drill and being one one of the first responder committee members when the fire alarm is activated.
