The Rural Youth and Adult Literacy Trust is a non-profit organisation that assists adults and teenagers nationwide but especially those living in rural areas (or who are otherwise isolated) with literacy and numeracy. Tuition is free and the 1:1 coaching is done over the phone, Zoom or face to face. The lessons are personalised to the student and at their pace.
Our volunteer coaches work with a student from 1-3 days a week for a 30 minute lesson, using phone, video-conference or face to face. Students are also able to access our online practice software if they have access to a computer with internet or can get to a library computer.
