Kia ora, welcome to Volunteering Northland
Te Kowhai Print Trust is a community owned facility unique to Whangarei. It operates as a workshop and educational facility in fine art printmaking as well as keeping a nationally significant historical archive of fine art prints. We’re currently equipped to teach Stone Lithography, Screenprinting, Solar Etching, Dry Point, Collograph, Monoprinting, Woodcut/Linocut and Letterpress. We are one of the few studios who are equipped to teach the range of fine art printmaking techniques that we do.
We like to work with a number of community organisations and teach printing classes to any age and experience level.
Printapalooza is a large-scale printing event held at Hihiaua Cultural centre, where artists come together to print massive woodblocks - We need volunteers for the day, ink rollers, fabric cutters, safety spotters and sales at the merch table.
Handy Man? The Print Trust is wishing for someone to join our thriving print community to assist in some small project-based work.
Are you good with numbers? A Trustee Treasurer is required for the Print Trust.
