Kia ora, welcome to Volunteering Northland
Our vision is to inspire curiosity about our evolving world. We do this by connecting communities through experiences and stories of the people, places, treasures and natural world.
We are set on 62 acres of park like grounds encompassing a Conservation and Natives Species Team, Whangārei Museum, Heritage buildings and 10 independent incorporated heritage clubs.
We have two sections - The model section which builds models and runs our layouts. The "Big trains" section deals with our big trains and engineering etc
"Glorat" The original Clarke Homestead is due to reopen later this year. We need Heritage Heroes to help us share the stories of the home and the family of this historic home.
Join the Kiwi North Conservation and Native Species Team in our endeavor to protect native habitats from invasive weed species.
