Youth Volunteer Holiday Program: Onerahi Beach Clean Day
The much-anticipated Beach Clean-Up Day is finally happening - join us for a few hours!
Help your community and join us for an a few hours of community action!
The much-anticipated Beach Clean-Up Day is finally happening! Keeping our taiao (environment) clean and healthy is essential for both people and wildlife. That’s why we’re coming together to clean a stretch of the Onerahi beachfront this April!
A big mihi to Onerahi Community Association and Kamo Community Inc / Te Kamo Connect for their support with the event!

What You Need to Know:
- If you're under 16, a guardian must drop you off to provide permission. The minimum age to participate is 13.
- Basic physical fitness required.
- Bring: Gloves, gumboots, a towel, a drink bottle, a hat, work clothes (and maybe a change of clothes).
- Lunch: Please bring a small contribution for a shared meal after the clean-up.
