Trustees for Whangārei Trade Aid Trust Board
Trade Aid is a social enterprise creating fairness in trade. We work with small food and craft producers around the world, and we support and educate kiwi consumers to join with us in creating a world where trade is fair for all. Founded right here in New Zealand in 1973, Trade Aid continues in its mission to create fairness in the world.
We are looking for additional Trustees, to help the Whangārei Trust with the responsibility of providing sound governance to the Trade Aid Retail Shop on Vine Street. Meetings are usually held in the evening on the third Wednesday of the month, either in person at the shop or via Teams video call.
We will discuss your skills, experience and area of interest to work out the best role for you within the trust, but experience is not essential as training can be made available.
We are looking for enthusiastic and committed volunteers to join our team and we have a range of positions available, such as to lead/as a member of our Education Team, Finance Trustee, and Volunteer Liaison.
If you are passionate about fair trade and social justice and have the interest, skills and experience to contribute as an active member of our team we would love to hear from you.
